ILMEG PRODUCTS AB LAUNCHES NEW SYSTEM TO IMPROVE THE

WORKING CONDITIONS AND THE ENVIRONMENT IN THE ASPHALT

PAVING INDUSTRY.

 

Ilmeg Products AB launches a newly developed system to improve the asphalt paving working environment. The system, mounted on an asphalt paver, purifies both the asphalt fumes and the engine exhaust gases.

“This system represents a Quantum Leap when it comes to environmental control in the asphalt paving industry” says Magnus Eriksson, President of ILMEG Products AB “The system can be used on basically all machines handling hot asphalt mix. Tests have verified that this system contributes to both better working conditions and a cleaner environment by significantly purifying the asphalt fumes and the combustion engine exhaust gases.

The introduction of this system is in line with the growth strategy of ILMEG products AB and supports the way we intend to position the company; to provide environmental solutions for the construction and mining industry” Magnus Eriksson concludes.

The system has been developed over the last years with dedicated involvement from ILMEG employees and in close co-operation with both Dynapac, the well-known company in compaction & paving technology and Finnkatalyt Ltd from Finland, specialized in exhaust gas purification solutions.
